The Global Forest is a CD ROM filled with movies, articles,
and pictures which were gathered and created during a two year socio-scientific
study conducted by students from the Bayside Middle School about Clayoquot
Sound, an endangered rain forest on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
Backyard
Backyard is a cooperatively constructed multimedia project
which encourages you, the viewer and user, to reflect in multiple ways
upon your own experience of backyards and to build new connections between
private and public space. By linking our individual backyards to the
backyards of others, we began to see new levels of what community and
community learning means.
Headlight
As part of Project Headlight, lead by Seymor Papert at
the Hennigan School in Boston, Dr. Goldman Segall constructed multimedia
portraits of three children, with three different preferred thinking
styles: empirical/causal, narrative, and relational.
